Angier Fire Department was first established in 1925.
In 1991 Angier Fire Department merged with Black River to form "Angier & Black River Fire Department.
The Angier & Black River Fire Department is committed to serving all people in the District 9 community, serving and preserving the livelihood and well being of each home and business. Through hard work and personal sacrifice the members make this one of the best departments in the county.
